  • Morocco is located in North Africa. They speak two official languages. They speak Arabic and Berber. It is very hot in Morocco. The breezes cool people off. Some famous people are Bigg who is a rapper and Zenza Raggi who is an actor.

  • Africa

2. What are the geographic features of your country? (Important rivers, lakes, oceans, mountain ranges, and other features)
  • It is located along the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. There are mountainous areas mostly.

3. What form of government is in your country?
  • They have a Unitary State, Monarch, Constitutional Monarchy and a Parliamentary System.
  • Jews were migrating to Morocco after the first temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. A place to visit in Morocco is the Moroccan Jewish Museum because there are over 20 Torahs there. Jewish education in Morocco is good because they read journals in Hebrew. Also, they recite prayers as a group. I didn't find any Hebrew Schools in Morocco.

4. Was there a mass exodus of Jews from your country, if so when and why?
  • Before the founding of Israel in 1948, there were about 250,000-350,000 Jews in Morocco. It was the largest Jewish community in the Muslim world, but fewer than 2,500 Jews still remain.

5. What are some popular Jewish foods in your country? (Include Recipes)
  • A popular food was Moroccan Cookies. The recipe included margarine or unsalted butter, oil, sugar, eggs, and flour. They also ate chicken with almonds, fried beet greens, and orange rice.

  • The population is 32.52 million.

  • Arabs invaded North Africa.Jews expelled from Spain. The Alleyway destiny takes over.

  • 225,000 before World War 1 and 100,00 after World War 2.

  • Hebrew is used exclusively in worship services. They speak Hebrew in their reformed services in Morocco.

1. How do people in your country celebrate Passover?
People gather around the father and he lifts the sedar plate to celebrate Passover.

The recipe for Moroccan cookies is Margarine or Unsalted butter, oil, sugar, eggs, and flour. Beat salad with Moroccan spiced beet greens, Moroccan Lab, Moroccan spiced tuna, and Moroccan spiced carrots

What are some customs of the Jewish population in this country?

Traditional parties usually take place within the week before a special occasion. Moroccan Jews tend to dress in styles of their adopted countries.
